Dr. Arun Kumar says Acneiform eruptions are a recognized adverse effect of Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor therapy and can significantly affect treatment adherence and patient quality of life. The combination of clindamycin phosphate 1.2%, adapalene 0.15%, and benzoyl peroxide 3.1% offers a comprehensive approach by targeting inflammation, follicular hyperkeratinization, and bacterial proliferation simultaneously. Emerging clinical experience suggests that this fixed-dose combination can effectively manage JAK inhibitor–associated acne while allowing patients to continue their primary therapy. As clinicians, early recognition and proactive management of these cutaneous adverse events are essential to optimize both dermatologic and systemic treatment outcomes
