Dr. A G Chandrashekara discussed that his case highlights the successful management of pityriasis rosea, a self-limiting papulosquamous disorder often associated with reactivation of human herpesviruses. The patient presented with characteristic erythematous, scaly lesions involving the trunk and proximal extremities. Following a 14-day course of treatment, there was complete resolution of the skin lesions with only minimal residual pigmentation remaining. This outcome demonstrates the effectiveness of timely therapeutic intervention in accelerating clinical recovery and improving patient comfort and quality of life.
